"No real help with my ticket issue"
Had an issue with my ticket so I sent in a complaint, thinking someone would actually look into it. But it was just copy paste replies over and over, no real help at all. I asked about a refund too and got nowhere. It dragged on for weeks and still nothing got sorted, frustrating tbh

The fare was shown upfront, and there weren’t any weird surprises when it came time to pay. Easy and straightforward overall. I think other customers would appreciate knowing exactly what they’re paying ahead of time too
"Helpful support when the app caused a bit of panic"
My ticket didn’t show up in the app after I paid, which stressed me out because my train was the next morning. I can imagine other customers would feel the same in that situation. I reached out to customer service and they got back to me quicker than I expected, within about an hour. They found my booking and resent the details, so it all worked out. I’m not giving 5 stars because the app was still a little confusing, but the support person was clear, helpful, and got it sorted.

"Not Worth It"
I expected a lot more for the price. It just didn’t feel like the quality or experience matched what I paid, and I kind of regret buying it. Wouldn’t get it again
"Okay trip, but the seats weren’t great"
I booked through trenitalia and the trip itself went fine, no real issues there. But the seats felt hard and cramped, and after about an hour my back was already bothering me. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but based on this ride, I’d say it’s probably not the most comfortable option for longer trips.

"Pretty Useful, But I Still Double-Check"
I use trenitalia.com often to check train times, and for the most part it’s accurate. Most of the time I’m like, okay great, this is all I need. But then every once in a while the platform or delay info changes kind of late, and of course that’s usually when I’m already rushing and thinking, please don’t make this more stressful. It’s not awful or anything, just not always perfectly up to date when timing really matters

"Bathroom smell really ruined it for me"
The toilets smelled awful the entire trip, and that really affected my experience. I know some people might be able to overlook it, but for me it was hard to enjoy anything with that constant smell around

"Save Your Time and Avoid This"
My train was cancelled, and weeks later I’m still waiting for a refund. I’ve chased it up and gotten nowhere, which is so frustrating. Save your time and be careful booking with them if you expect decent support when something goes wrong.

"Seat booking worked, but it messed up my plans a bit"
I booked seats on trenitalia.com and it did work in the end, but the whole process was more confusing than it needed to be. I had to go back and double-check whether the seats were actually selected, which was annoying because I was trying to finalize plans for the trip and it kind of threw everything off. Not the worst experience ever, but it could definitely be clearer and less stressful.

"Too Crowded to Travel Comfortably"
The trains were absolutely packed, and trying to deal with bags in that crowd was really frustrating. It made the whole trip stressful instead of easy. If this keeps happening, I’ll seriously look for another way to travel next time...

"Really poor communication when the train was cancelled"
My train ended up being cancelled, but we weren’t told properly at all. The app kept showing it as “on time” right up until we got to the station, and then the departure board changed at the last minute. Staff were giving different answers too, so nobody seemed to know what was actually happening with replacement trains or refunds. I’ve had delays with other train companies before, but at least they usually update the app or send a notification. This was just frustrating and really badly handled. I lost half a day and had to buy another ticket in the end. I get that disruption happens, but the communication was terrible.

"Really helpful staff at the station"
Got a bit turned around at the station. Not ideal. But the staff were really helpful and pointed me in the right direction. Quick, friendly, no fuss. Appreciated it a lot.

"Cleaner than expected !"
I took Trenitalia last week and honestly , the train was clean . The seats and floor looked tidy , and the bathroom was okay too . It wasn’t spotless or anything , but for a busy train , it was definitely better than I expected

"Way harder than booking a train ticket should be :/"
I tried booking a simple train ticket on trenitalia, and it took way longer than it should have. The pages were loading super slowly, the payment part was confusing, and at one point I had to start all over again for no obvious reason :/ It just didn’t feel user-friendly at all. By 2026, this kind of thing really should be much smoother.
"A delayed train, but handled really well"
My train ended up being delayed by around 25 minutes, which is never ideal, but I was surprised by how smoothly Trenitalia dealt with it. I kept getting updates through the app and there were announcements at the station too, so I didn’t feel like I was just waiting around with no idea what was happening. The staff seemed calm and were helping people figure out their connections, which made a big difference. It wasn’t perfect, but delays happen, and in this case I felt like they made it easy to stay informed.

"Not Perfect, But Not a Disaster"
A few of the trains showed up late, which was a bit annoying, honestly. But to be fair, it wasn’t like everything completely fell apart or anything. I get that delays happen, so I’m not trying to make it sound worse than it was, but there’s definitely room for improvement

There was just, like, no flexibility at all, and it ended up being really frustrating. I expected things to be a bit more accommodating, but yeah, that wasn’t the case.

"Okay when it worked, but not reliable"
It worked sometimes, but it kept dropping connection during our trip, which got frustrating. My sister and I had to keep messing with it whenever we needed it, so it wasn’t as dependable as we hoped.
